DLP? LCD? What projector?

There are so many different digital projectors out there (InFocus, Epson, etc.) and I'm wondering if anyone knows a good projector to get for premiering movies on a big screen. Under $1500 please :)

A guy who was making a film called "Dirt Boy" in Cape Cod just went there in the middle of the winter when nobody was there and filmed without showing store names. (the movies on DVD now)

She said it's not going to be animated in the other post. It's going to be a prop in somebody's home.

Matt, I haven't been able to change my signature! I tried on three different computers; could it be my account?

I think the title matched it perfectly. Only noticed one little error, and that's when he took the container to put the meat in, it was already full of meat, but it was empty when he put in the meat he had chopped up.

Maybe you should add some credits to it :)

My bad experience

I am a Mac user. I was using Final Cut Express to edit a film my friend and I made, and it suddenly said it was unable to import the footage because of the timecode. So, I went into iMovie (the beginner program) and imported there because it has scene detection. Then, I put it into FCP. I put it on ...

Mini DV vs. Digital 8?

Which do you think has better quality? I noticed that Mini DV sometimes seems to be lower quality, and Digital 8 has better color but I may be wrong.

I think the killer wrote it after he killed his family, meaning that he would come back to kill him, but I'm probably wrong. What camera did you film that with?

That was one of the best movies I've seen around here, recently! Probably because it really looked like you put a lot of work into it. Very creative angles, too! Like when he swept the meat off of the counter.

Awesome job.

RE: What shade of green?

"Low Budget Chroma Paint. Mixed by Lowe's Hardware, it is a very close match to the original chroma green (left) and about half the price. Lowes will mix it if you give them the following numbers: 103-4Y 113-1Y 1145Y32 base 4"

I quote this from Detonation Films' website.

RE: Good Question (mini-dv tape)

I agree with maj barnes, the quality would degrade over time. But doesn't doing that give you timecode problems? It you had a clip, and than you record two shorter clips over it with a break in between them, that might screw things up.
