Yeah thats what it is ment to do, but when you put your footage next to 16mm and 35mm it looks more like 16mm (with slightly better DOF)

Yes you can use SLR lenses. Thats what I use. I'm sorry but this is absoloutley rediculious. People seem to be having a debaite here about the pros and cons of using a mini 35 adapter! ----- Are you joking? There are no cons (apart from the fact that your image is rendered upsied down). I have a redrock m2 adapter with a PL and a Nikon Flange. I use Nikon 28, 35, 50, 135, 200mm lenses, if any one has a Nikon, manual/prime 85mm lenses and is selling it cheap then let me know. :D

hey, thanks, no they added the entry title so they must have done it wrong. It was a JVC GY HD 100 + mini 35 + nikon 28, 35, 50, 135, 200mm prime lenses. cheers guys

Lol forget either the future is JVC! I finished my first day of principle photographey today with my JVC GY HD 100 + mini 35 adapter + 28mm - 135mm nikon prime lenses. It looks the muts nuts! I recon better than 16mm by far.

no you need to develop and then get a digital transfer. transfering to dv ends up costing more than just shooting and editing on film

there is an indi film called copy shop where the shot it on dv, then printed out each of the 18000 frames on a4 and then photo copyed them individualy back in to get a unique grain effect.
