Thanks for the responces guys. Out of curiosity, since I used a wide angle lens will that help as far as the picture quality goes besides the image being wider? OT: And don't worry Epsilon, I still have the intentions of buying some gear from you. Next time we're both on the net at the same time we'...

Question About Letterbox And Anamorphic Widescreen

I have a video that is letterboxed, but was wondering if there is any possible way to make it anamorphic. If this can be done what programs could I do it with and would the quality look like cr**?

Fullscreen Questions

Just a few questions: 1. What would a movie shot in fullscreen like on a widescreen TV? 2. Does shooting a movie in fullscreen hinder the ability for that movie to be sold? 3. Why can't fullscreen movies that are shown in theaters be shown in their original form (I.E. "The Evil Dead" and &...

What I don't understand is if I shoot 16x9 on my camera it technically isn't native 16x9. Would I just be better off shooting in 4:3 then or should I shoot in 16x9 and encode it in 16x9 on the computer?

How often do you buy DVDs Movieman? I usually get one or a week depending on what kind of deals are out there. Though I have kind of slowed down because I've had to shopping for others.

I'm still confused on how to do this. What cables will I need to hook my camera up to the VCR so I can transfer VHS to one of my camera tapes? I don't have an Ilink on my VCR but is there another way I could do this with my camera?

A Question About CD-Rs

I bought two packs of CD-Rs for a dollar each and here's what it says on the package. "Compatible with all leading CD-R writers (2x-40x) and readers" I'm pretty sure that my CD-R writer is faster than 40x. Will I be able to copy things on to the CD-R with no problem? Are there any certain ...

Last night I downloaded Firefox and I am very happy with it. What setting do you recommend that I have for it though as far as making it as safe as possible from malware and all that spyware garbage goes?

Not Able To Use Google

Hey everyone. A while back I had a massive spyware problem and thankfully got rid of it all thanks to the use of ad-aware and spybot search and destroy. But like before when I had all of that spyware and I can't use Google or Yahoo's search engine in any other browser except for AOL. Is there anyway...

If you're a really big fan of the "Evil Dead" series like me you might want to get the Book Of The Dead edition. It's about $30 but it's pretty cool!

The only bad thing about it is it's a cardboard case and there are no special features on it. But the movie is great so that more than makes up for it.
