RE: Making a Movie with 1 Camera: Is it possible?

Obviously, when capturing a 'one-time only sequence', more that one camera is recommended, but it is not imperative that several cameras will be needed all the time. Remember this, even professional film crews sometimes prefer to shoot scenes from one angle and then shoot the the entire scene again ...

Trailers

What, in your opinion, makes a good, dramatic movie trailer? Personally, I think having a suspenseful/mysterious opening and a fast-paced closing montage of action is good. Obviously, dramatic music helps greatly and including some of the more remarkable shots from the film. There are some movies wh...

RE: My next venture - Comedy sketch-show

Funny you should do this as one of my filmmaking friends (JK90) has started planning a comedy series for us to shoot this year. You also seem to come from central England as I do which is another coincidence.
JK90 will have more details though.

RE: Hero Music/Chase Music

For heroic action music, I suggest The Mummy Returns by Alan Silvestri - I have it and it is excellent.
If you are looking for something more serious, I suggest The Bourne Supremacy (John Powell) or The Rock (Hans Zimmer).

I must congratulate you on the terrific camera work there, the quality is almost film-like.

Good look, I look forward to the final result!

RE: New Computer

I just kad a look at the LaCie UK website and I found these hard drives:

80Gb for £65.00
160Gb for £87.00
200Gb for £102.00
250Gb for £116.00
400Gb for £265.00

Which is the best to choose from considering that I have a small budget?

Quite good that but I have to echo what James said about about you muzzle flash, it was quite poor. Other than that, very enjoyable.

Some of the elements of the trailer looked pretty lame but God's sake get rid of that moustache.

Adobe After Effects

Hi guys!

In the coming weeks, I am going to keep an eye on eBay for any good deals on Adobe After Effects but first I need to know if it is worth getting.
I want to know how any of you have benefited from the software.

Thanks,
