I have an old 8mm camera, It is pretty nice, of course, the quality is no where even close to 16mm. Though, I think it is a good investment, it is mostly fun, it would probably cost even more then $100 to shoot a short film though. It is really fun though, but just remember, 8mm is an old format, so...

It was ok. Really the only thing that got to me most, was that you broke the 180 degree rule, A LOT!

Hey guys, I was just woundering if anyone knows where I could get the sound that is in the village and other movie when somthing freaky is going to happen it has that buzz/fuzz horror sound, let me knoe if you know of any site that might have it.

they do now make dv camera that shoot at 24 fps and it looks almost like film (but not perfectly cause film acually runs at 23.987fps, I forgot why but...yea)
I found avid really good at slowmo, I use it now in stead of premire

If your use in avid you go to Effects palate Ctrl + F8 then go to timewarp and ad speed bump then place it on the clip, and then ad the film blur effect, hope that helps.
