Vor, will you please explain to me why I would put something clearly video editing under scripts. For some reason that makes no sense to me. And by the way its an entirely different movie. Thank you to thecrowdravin for actually giving useful advice.

Spaghetti Western Look

How can I get that look of a spaghetti western (i.e. Good, Bad, and Ugly or A Fistful of Dollars (Basically anything by Sergio Leone) or even The Devils Rejects)? I use Final Cut Express.

RE: "Barry Lyndon" An Exercise in Style

I thought it was good, though not very Kubrick like, except for the zoom from the candle. I found the credits in the beginning much like Hitchock actually.

Sorry about all the exploitation threads, I am just making a film and I keep hitting obstacles. Anyways, thanks for not getting all p*** off at me. What I am asking for here is: What makes a chase scene intense? What keeps the audience on the edge of their seat (Ignore the cliche)?

They look good with a low budget. No great acting needed, though preferred. Practice with gore fx. Fun to watch, and they scare me s***less

RE: Exploitation (my first script)

It's kind of easy to copy a movie as good as Devils Rejects, and yes I saw a strong similarity. Just try and find something to set them apart.

RE: In Need of Help with horror/exploitation script!

yea, sounds good. I just want the killers to be totally human, just really f****d up people. I am going with either rape/revenge, near death/revenge, or maybe death/parents revenge. Which one of those do u like best?

I find it easier to film it then think of a title. You film or just write.

Gunshot and Blood FX

I have got a squib, but I have noticed that they produce kind of a spurt of blood. I was just wondering how I could achieve more of a mist, instead of one weak little spurt. Also, I am sure there is a post on this somewhere in the forum, but what is the best way to achieve muzzle flash?
