RE: Re: RE: sundance short film

I wish I could go, you're really lucky to live in Utah. Well I too don't think I stand a chance but you never know... Do you know where I can see some old sundance shorts? The ones on the official website have been disabled.

Anyway I put together some of the clips to some music of finding neverland just to show...

yeah i agree although this video was meant to be VERY commercial. Even the song. It was a very different song when she wrote it, but this is for a competition and she was told to make it more "radio friendly" or something like that. I too would have loved to have done something more intere...

Hey thanks. Ye the garden is amazing. it belongs to the girl's grandma's. It's huge, we got seperated and lost at one point lol. The only problem is we'd end up boiling just walkin from 1 part of the house to the other (37 degrees celcius heat). But that's Malta :P

Music Video

Hey. Just filmed my first music video. Two days of filming at 2 different locations, one day to edit. Filmed in widescreen but youtube stretched it into a a square and made the picture quality horrible.

Got driven in a police car down to the station :P was actually fun cos they got a call about a man...

Wide Angle Lens

Hey. Anyone here buy a good Wide angle lens? I'm thinking of getting one for my Sony camera but I would like to hear some comments about them if anyone has any. This is the one i'm probably going to get. http://www.helixcamera.com/Video/SonyCam/sonyaccess/lens/VCL-HG0758.html But it's a lot of money...

Hey, thanks. I'm a bit bugged of the split screen style too, def. won't be using it in my next film. But I think the split screen works for this genre. Scene 1 was actually the first time I'd ever edited using the split screens (hadn't filmed it with them in mind) so I sort of got a little carried a...

Yeah you're right. Though they've improved a lot since that scene. We've all come quite a long way I think since this film, not only filming/acting, but also in maturity of stories... never gonna do another "action/thriller" thing again (until we're old enough to be believable lol). Got a ...

Yeah, have to dub a couple of lines which are inaudible. Don't worry it's not just you, that scene is actually filmed over three days, months apart :p

RE: Re: RE: Anybody ever render hour+ dvd on Pinnacle Studio

"Version 9 files should be able to open on 10, it would be stupid to offer upgrades and not have backwards compatibility." Yeah, but this is pinnacle we're talkin about :p. But if I were to use Premiere Elements, would that mean I'd have to edit the film from scratch? cos at this point, th...

RE: Re: RE: Anybody ever render hour+ dvd on Pinnacle Studio

"As for Pinnacle, I had version 9 and it always crashed during making the DVD. If possible, output the video as an .avi or .wmv and burn it with a program made seperately for DVD authoring" Good idea. If all else fails, I'll try that. But damn, I don't recommend pinnacle to anyone doing a ...

RE: Re: RE: Anybody ever render hour+ dvd on Pinnacle Studio

wow, lots of replies. Yeah, i don't use any special effects offered on pinnacle... other than the picture in picture sometimes, and the subtitles. What scares me is that eve when I render 7 minutes of the film, it crashes more often than not, hence my fear of such a huge rendering. At the moment I c...
