The Journey - my first movie!

Well I finally rendered my movie to wmv and uploaded it to google so everyone can watch. Tell me what you guys think! BTW i know most of you hate spoofs, but the first 5 minutes is a spoof on the sixth sense and the ring. It doesn't really fit in with the whole story line, but we just through it in ...

Yes I know DV is compressed, but I assumed he was editing with DV in the first place, therefore there would be very little if any loss in quality if he used the same compressor. It would be pointless to export a movie uncompressed if you were using DV footage in the first place.

If you dont want to lose any quality I would export your adobe premiere project to a DV avi file. In the video render settings make sure that the "recompress" box is unchecked. As well as the audio. This will output the best quality of movie you can get, but of course the files size will p...

Well I havn't ever used AE with Encore before, but I know you can just add a video background to any menu, and set it to loop forever. Have you ever used encore before?

I agree with creating a film based on what you know you have access too. Its much easier, but you don't want to go out of your way to film at some location or use some place just because you can, if it doesnt fit in with the story. The last movie I did (which should be done by this coming tuesday) w...

Hey LoneMan, I watched your Halluci-nate film and that part with the gorilla playing basketball cracked me up, what song is that in the background? I think I might use it in my movie. Thanks.

Yeah I couldn't think of a song for the trailer and one day i was listening to Blink and visualized the video to it. Although I don't think tje trailer really sends the message of our movie being a comedy. I've decided to make a new trailer when our movie gets closer to being finished. We havn't eve...

Yeah, i would put some good tricks into this video if we could do them! We all suck at wakeboarding, im the only one out of my friends who can land inverts, so that is why most of this movie is going to be a comedy about how we "think" we are good at wakeboarding but we are not. I agree th...

Im not sure how well the GS180 performs, but I have a GS300 and it kicks the cr** out of my dads sony miniDV one chip camera. Im pretty sure the picture quality of the gs180 is really close to that of the gs300. The colors are much more vivid and accurate. The resolution is much better as well! I bo...

Trailer: Wakeboard movie

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in this forum for a LONG time. I cant even remember what my sign in name was, so I had to re-register. Anyways, my friends and I have been wakeboarding a lot this summer and decided to make a wakeboard/adventure movie. Inside this wakeboard video is a big quest to fi...
