RE: CAT C Productions Website
One thing is that it it's a freeweb. I suspect a lot of people of were put off by the freewebs bit of it. OK: -I'm not sure about the 'Cat C Productions' logo. A bit basic, a bit boring... -Also why is the page title '|'?? -Although it is quite a nice homepage it is bland and quite boring...Maybe a ...

I think he is trying to achieve a shot of some one falling to the ground, like they'd parachuted down. But obviously he can't actually make them drop all the way. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

yeah you need quick shots, rapidly changing. Fighting in real life is completly different from fighting in films, as I'm sure you know. Fighting in films is often a very slow place, especially if you have only one camera. You have to stop, film one shot, then another and so on. Maybe a close up of b...

Yah, it was obvious this film was not in the middle of a battle. One simple tihng your friend could have done was added a load mroe of sound effects with a lot of voloume, maybe the camera shaking in time to some explosion sound effects? Seriously a good sound scape and maybe a bit of colour correct...

RE: Re: RE: 40 foot airial shots.
Also this could be used for some nice fake helicopter shots, massive horizons or sky shots. And yeah maybe an army/riot uncover shot? In Team America they madea lot of sets on their sides etc. and they used things like 40ft cranes to get something more like 250ft (because of the scale) thort everyon...

yeah, be very careful when doing films based on/around recent events especially one like that. And yeah, it looked like you were trying to make it funny but poecing it together like an action/drama thing which can really confuse the viewer. Also, yeah, I mean all I know from that trailer is that the...

Yeah effects wern't great at all. And thte music wasn't great quality and maybe not the best choice. Now before I comment anymore, and this isn't meant to be an insult just a question: is it a comedy? Sorry if it isn't I'm just asking that because especially with the first one it feels like a sorta ...

If you go into LiveType go to "Objects" on the right hand side and then from the drop-down menu select either Digital or Space and it's in there.

RE: Problem with Adobe Premiere
Find the Adobe resource files (I think) that's where stuff should be located and if it's not there you're in big s***. If you have it legally you could try re-installing AP failing that ring up Adobe and ask them.

RE: Fina Cut Pro Help
Right...first you need wormhole footage. I'm presuming you have FCP legally so you'll have LiveType with it. LiveType is meant for title sequences but has a wormhole effect in it. You can use that. Now you want someone to fall into the wormhole? I suppose you green/blue screen them falling backwards...

RE: Film Crew
If you're using a crane you'll need a lot more. How about a clapperboard dude, if you're using one? Depending on the size of your film you may have a Head of Staff/Stagemanager who bosses everybody about and tells them where to go. ON a small movie though you can get away with one crew member (memor...

RE: Film Crew
Lol. Yeah. Hell depending on how far you wanna go you could find, maybe a local drama school (this is for actors and crew I suppose) and ask if anyone wants to get involved in a film infront or behind the Line. Leaflet your school / other schools. Offer a free lunch. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

RE: 1 minute scene - lighting experiment
Yes it was good but yeah I think for that particular style/look you were going for you should have a tripod. Hell you should definetly own a tripod so you have the choice of having a movie hand-held-ed or tripod-ed.
