Does anyone know how to get a file from google video into Final Cut Pro? I downloaded some stock footage from google video but it won't let me open it in Quicktime or put it in final cut. Is it even possible?

Right now, I'm interested in purchasing some editing, CGI, special effects etc. software. I've read about all the different programs but I'm really not sure which one will give me the most for my money? If anyone could give me some advice on which software is the best it would be greatly appreciated...

Before you post a script work a little more on it. It doesn't explain anything to the reader (or viewer if you're filming this). Write more of the script so the people who are reading it can get a feel for what's happening.

You couldn't tell what was going on from the camera angles. The camera was very shaky and the lighting was pretty bad. I didn't understand any of plot either.

I didn't even think it looked like a staff. It looks like those string things with lights attached. Even if it was real... I didn't look real.

What's a thunderpipe? I assume it's a pipe filled with compressed air so it can shoot stuff out of it but I've never heard of any that you could buy (I always thought you had to make your own). If anyone has any links to a site or pics it would be appreciated.

USP's are awesome. Gun used by most law enforcement agencies. I love Mac 11's too. Awesome gun. Shortyusa.com and Kapowwe.com are both very good airsoft websites.

The best part of the film was the dog. Best actor too. The music was really annoying.

I have a lot of sprite bombs and the work really well for making smoke and a spark (very big sparks too).

What was that? You fire... and then the shell floats in mid air... and then hits the ground? Doesn't really make sense what is going on.

Waaaaaaaay too long. Why do you "armor up" with an ultraviolet light?! You also have a little leatherman pocketknife but what for?! Use a big knife from your kitchen or something. Sorry but it was really crappy.

It was a very good film. For such a small budget it looked great. Some stuff was a little cheesy like the acting and terrorists and cars but other than that it was well done. I liked the music even though it was a little over the top. Good job.

Does anyone know how to make it look like somone is jumping off a really tall building? Like in MI3? I know how THEY did it but I was wondering if there were any other REALLY low budget ways of doing this and getting a pretty good effect.

The bullet holes in the car looked really good! I was wondering if there were any other way then painting black circles on the car that would look just as good?

Needs some work. Muzzle flashes need more opacity. Too choppy and bad cuts.

I agree with ctbullet. The muzzle flashes were too solid. You need to add some opacity.

The cuts were pretty crappy. No good editing. Fighting could have been better. OK but you need to work on it.
