True, you should try to keep all this stuff in one thread MGH.
Anyways for this scene I think you should just keep a fast pace. Have the camera always moving with the actors as they run and do some quick edits. Thats all the advice I have for now. lol

I have always been into exploitation/horror movies for a long time. I think The Devil's Rejects really helped create the spark for a comeback of exploitation films. The Grindhouse film does look pretty great though with all the older actors from old horror films showing up in it. And MGH, Salo is a ...

RE: In Need of Help with horror/exploitation script!
Yea, I know what you mean. Hmmm I love Last House On The Left so the death/parents revenge sounds really good to me. Just got to figure out a way to do it differently than LHOTL. That is the real obstacle if you choose to write with that premise.

RE: Exploitation (my first script)
Well, I have been just writing, because I never really had a video camera, but I just got one for christmas so hopefully I will be filming too. Yea, I was planning on an ending like that also. I just found that my script seemed to similar to The Devil's Rejects so I stopped writing. I didn't want my...

RE: In Need of Help with horror/exploitation script!
This probably sounds cheesey, but what if in this small city or something some people find out that there are people or things living in the sewers beneath their streets. And they only come up for food or something, which is people. You could run with that.

Exploitation (my first script)
This is part of a script I was working on about 5 months ago, but never finished. It was supposed to be an exploitation film, and I never really had a title so I'll just call it Exploitation for right now. I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks. FADE IN: INT. VAN - DAY BRAD sits in his sweat soaked...

Re: RE: Hostel 2
The production of film has been around for near 100 years now and already people are complaining about the lack of creativity. This film goes to show that lack and with a remake the lack only rises. Now that the youth culture has stumbled into the idea of gore not making a simple cringe, we are cor...

Yes, finally another person that seems to know the horror/exploitation genre. Oh and Rhys, the reason Tarantino would present a film like this is because he and Roth are friends. Plus Tarantino doesn't make that great of movies either. He only takes his favorite music and parts of films from the 70s...

First song.
This is my first try at a song. I was thinking about using it for a horror movie when I get around to making one. Please let me know what you think.

RE: Re: RE: Hostel 2
Hostel was ok. I don't think it did much good for the horror community though. Sure it has some nice F/X work, but the acting, story, and everything else seems to be catering for the brainwashed MTv teens out there. The Devil's Rejects was far superior and brought back the nice 70's exploitation fee...

Yea I see what you guys are saying. It's true that it's stealing and I never said it wasn't. You have convinced me to delete my pirated software and stick to buying it. Please do not use Ford as an example though man. Even if the unions are worse, Ford has committed some very bad humans rights viola...
