how about getting a camera with 24p? it (of course) not the same, but that could be turned into 35mm pretty easily, since it has full 24 frames per second (i dont know about the prices though..)

i got the 120 and really like it (plus unlike Sony's this one have the Mini DV thing not in the bottom but in the side, making it much easier to change tapes when you have a tripod)

well, about that, even though Maya is the "standard" it is only the "standard" for the last touch ups and rendering, but many many (even in hollywood) use 3ds for the modeling and that stuff, then just pass to Maya, tune up the models and have an awsome render although 3ds render...

any how, the thing really sounds good, just be carefull with the "Silent hill" type monsters, they are cool in the game, but i think that if you dont make them really good, it will look kinda really cheezy. but Its an interesting film!

And as far as filming on location goes: Plan Like A Sonofabitch. Make a list and check it several times before you go. There's nothing worse that driving an hour and a half to get to your location only to find you forgot the tripod, or the extra batteries. And bring backups of everything you can. S...

Do you mean at the end? Yeah, the camera movement was a little odd, but i had to crouch and pan the camera for the fall. Plus there is a little trick there, cause he fell down in one of those "gym mats", like the ones they use in gymnastics, to soften the fall, but as you see, it is 1 uncu...
