Christopher Walken said it best:

"Hey, you're talkin to my guy(s) all wrong, it's the wrong tone.... Do it again, and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron"

The way I'm planning to do it, I'm not putting too much emphasis on the genetically engineered part. In fact, the majority of the "weapons" childhood will be covered in a 4 to 5 minute sequence, and some subsequent flashbacks. I really wanted to convey some "shock value" in the m...

The Phoenix Sequence

Okay, so here's my current idea, called The Phoenix Sequence It's originally inspired by a wikipedia stub I "Stumbleupon button" Stumbled onto. The article was completely ridiculous, to be sure, but it started der wheels a-turnin'. It opens up with "Project Sabre" -- a secret mil...

I would love to use Lightwave, but as of yet, I'm stuck using Bryce 5  ... Unless I get a faster computer (and a copy of Lightwave (or 3DS Max)) I'm gonna end up using this for my series. Do not, repeat, DO NOT use this program unless you are really hard up for a 3D program. Seriously, I have ...

People never take me seriously when I say that car washes bring in huge amounts of money. My friend's theater group brings in over $2,000 for a saturday of washing cars. You just need to have a sign that states you are a group making money for student projects. It also doesn't hurt to have a few gi...

Call it a Stargate: Battle of Edora

This was originally called "Stargate SG-2, Battle of Edora", But I modified it for Ian Paterson's "Call it a Stargate" mini-series, at www.superteam.biz, It was never completely finished, and looking back, it's an okay script, but could be better. Anyway, here goes: Call it a Sta...

I know what you mean. I direct my team's shoots, and half of the time, they don't even show up! :D

I like doing this stuff for fun, which is why I'd never make it a career.
Doing that would take the fun out of it for me.

What do you guys do for a living? When you're not making films, and if you're still in school, what will you do when u graduate? Because my parents seem to think that if I keep filmmaking, and dont go into computer programming (which, i did that once, couldn't manage what i wanted, and quit because ...

Actually, since our team can't afford After Effects, any explosions we do, we'll probably have to ask for help from one of you!

For primary editing, though, we use Premiere.
