I would also love such things. Even moreso though, if it's at all possible, could you make a relatively short excursion into the countryside and film some really bleak looking Russian landscape? Like you'd want in some kind of Post-apocalyptic movie. I'd understand if that's too far out of your way,...

"I Ain't Allowed" A New short script.

Would appreciate opinions on this. This story was inspired by the Tom Wait's song "Buzz Fledderjohn's Yard". I'm mostly happy with it, but I do not like the ending. Opinions on that in particular would be very much appreciated.

Rather than avoid CG entirely, it seems to me that the best solution would be to figure out which of these suggested on site methods works, and then combine it with some of the luma CG footage, either to fill in the holes or just give it a more complete look. You'd have the guaranteed realism of the...

Intro freaked me out a bit. I ended my movie The White Horse (do a search, it's still in a post on the forums somewhere) with "When the Man Comes Around". Since it's not that famous a song, I'm not used to hearing it in any other context.

Kudos. heh.

Yeah, very nice. I'm admittedly confused, but only a little. The acting is what sells it I think.

And, the writing; it's vulgarity is at just the right level and amount. Cursing is best when used in moderation like that so it makes you flinch just a little. Very nice.

Could you describe what you did in After Effects to make the picture look as good as it does?

Also, where did you get the smoke, dust, richochet, etc. effects?

Last time I bump this up. Promise.

Only thing is that there's a few more prominent forum members that haven't popped in whom I'd appreciate criticism from. Hmm, anyone out there? :D

Sound is a big issue. A lot of it was difficult to hear. I know it's just a project, but invest in a microphone and make up a boom. It makes a world of difference.

Good Muzzle flashes.

Acting is bad, but fine for just a project.

Car chase was well done except for the sped up parts.

Ah, yes, that noise. Of the five boom men at my disposal, one of them is less experienced, and that was his first day. So, there's a couple audio bloops. The rest of the time that happens is when it was in fact very windy outside. I just use Adobe Premiere Pro 2, but for the opening credits I used A...

Well, here's the thing. I was in fact going for shakey. However, I discovered too late into production that to pull that effect off well, you really need a nicer camera with image stabilization. It's a rock and a hard place for really really cheapo (we're talking hundred bucks or so) film makers to ...

Obviously sort of pointless, but that's certainly forgivable for a movie you made when you were bored one day (which, for a one night bored film, this is pretty good).

Consider throwing some muzzle flashes in. It's so easy to do decent ones in premiere.

FALLS THE SHADOW: New Film is up.

This was shown to a premiere of about 150 people that turned out from my home town, and was very well received. So, without further ado, I present "Falls the Shadow" a film about two very different men whose worlds clash and shape each others', one a nihilistic sociopath (a serial killer),...

Post Production Problems (also alliteration)

With my films, I've always just kind of captured, and started editing, placing special effects where I need them and what not, but that's all. In the past few months though, I've aquired Premiere 2.0, and also Avid Xpress Pro (which is proving difficult for me to figure out, but I'm sure will be wor...

If it wouldn't take up too much of your time, would you mind detailing some of the special effects you used? (or at least just the ones we saw in the trailer). I'm talking mainly about the "super-strength" thing where the guy is thrown, all the gunfights, etc. How much did you spend on wha...

Old Film Look

I've got Premiere Pro 2.0. Can someone please give me the name of an effect or two to make my video look old black and white silent movie? All the noise and cr** on the picture? Thank you in advance.
