Well, yeah, referring to prodigyfilms inc's idea, you don't necesarily have to shoot the actor. You could do a close up of the piece of body that you are shooting, but instead make a fake body part (arm, torso, which ever will be shot). Then, clothe it, put the blood pouch in, and shoot it. Then, y...

RE: THREE DAY LIMIT SCRIPT

I did enjoy it but found the repeated use of complex syntax a bit irritating, and som eof the similies were a little random, almost as if they were there to make it sound good without actually improving the script. just my thoughts.

RE: Advice and suggestions for script

Supposely i was planning to mix gangsterism, smoking and underaged-sex into one. But i've got no ideas yet. was thinking along the lines of doing it from the hoods perspective, a "day in the life" sort of thing? the camera follows the gansta lad around as he makes his rounds of his undera...

Jperson, if you looking for someone to write you a decent script for free they are going to want to see a decent end product eg the film. If its badly shot/acted etc the writer who has spent his time writing you a script is going to a bit annoyed to say the least. I have to agree with this 100%; if...

everyone writes scripts in different ways, I am a visual writer so my scripts have lots of direction in them, I owuld say that 80% of my scripts are what are NOT said, yet I know writers who dont even bother with punctuation or spelling as they are getting a rough idea and no one else will read it. ...

Try to say "This is only the beginning" with an evil smile as serious as you can and tell me it doesnt feel cheesy. Very true, I read my scripts from cover to cover as I write, saying them aloud can help with character definition and also helps you to stop rambling and keep the flow going

Prehaps Patrick is the father, but I prefer the thought that she is a gangsters moll, went on the run with some vital piece of information and Patrick is a hitman type who has tracked her down, kidnapped her son and wants the informaton. not sure, just looking forward t hearing more.

I was watching the Extras DVD for Top Gun the other day and to make the shake shots for the ariel combat the simply attached a power drill to the front of the camera with an 8" off set wooden disc attached to the front, very simple and the effect is good, hope it helps.
