for my final project at uni, all the extras were our friends and friends of friends, we used facebook to get the word out and created events for specific shoots, some were better than others, we shot one scene in bedford town centre and had around 30 zombie extras which was cool for the actual film,...

since matthawkins went offline all those years ago, i've been to uni (finished this summer)getting a degree in tv and film production, written a feature length zombie script, saved up my student loans, and started shooting my first film (a zombie film) my final project at uni was a news bulletin doc...

that looks like a really good film, how did u do the onscreen affects like the bullet hits and the explosion on the ridge ?? my one criticism is that there were too many shots of groups of people getting mown down by a machine gun

a few things
its a spoof action film so yes they all go down in one punch and the people are standing there to make it look silly and fake etc

thanks for the replies folks, yer i should of included some better camera angles
and yes everyone it is infact all done with models would you believe lol, the quality is very good on my computer but when i render or watever it to upload it, the quality is terrible.

another pinnacle studio question

I use pinnacle studio 9.2 i believe and i was just wondering whether theres an easy way to add muzzle flashes to it using frame grab or putting them in the title track or something??? i really need to add them as soon as possible as i need to show examples of my work at my university interview thank...

i enjoyed it to be honest and was quite funny in places like when he was being chased by the hoover although the wind thingy dragged on a bit, some of the camera work was rather good aswel, it realy does annoy me when people make pointless comments like "o thats awful" especially when there own work...
