It's kind of strange. When I'm directing, I feel a bit uneasy, directing my friends about, but when I'm acting, it's a lot of fun because we're all in the same boat. I still love both, but I didn't vote.

i'm back for a day again, lol. Yeah, I suggest getting a few people in a small room, get some crazy bangin' tunes in the background (edited, methinks.), some wacky lighting and some really tight angles and close ups, so people don't know you were just in someone's garage. Have a few establishing sho...

Yeah, I posted a comment about that on one of your vids. But if the money's going toward filming, then we can look forward to the flick, rather than stare at the naked site.

Shoot the thing in rainy season. But, I have been thinking about this as well. My idea is that you have a tiny rig for water to drip out of, and place that right in front of the camera, so that it's the first thing it sees. Have the actors sprayed with water before the shot. The illusion should work...

I guess you could put your name, omitting your address and school and all that, to avoid some kind of rapist. and also so that if anything nasty you've said affects anyone, they can't hunt you down and beat you up. ;)

Well, yeah, referring to prodigyfilms inc's idea, you don't necesarily have to shoot the actor. You could do a close up of the piece of body that you are shooting, but instead make a fake body part (arm, torso, which ever will be shot). Then, clothe it, put the blood pouch in, and shoot it. Then, yo...

In our case, filming The Thing From Gangly Deep, its just the actors we have on the location, my dad, and me to be camera operators, people to hold eyeline sticks, prop people on hand, and who ever else we need. We do not have specific jobs, we just double up as crew/cast/ and techies(well, just Mar...

Dr. Green eh? That sounds useful to some poor person like me, lol. I'm pretty sure the Avid Free program doesn't have chroma keying on it I'm afraid. But, on the other hand, if you're seriously thinking about using it a lot, you might as well get a paid-for version. I'm thinking about it.

I have watched pretty much all of the series. But I new from the start that they had to give John Barrowman a gay part. Not that I'm against them, but i don't see how it fitted in with the rest of the story (The holding hands, dancing and stuff). Didn't seem appropriate. I agree with you, Matt, how ...

I think the whole thing should be a practical stage and prop. well, the way I'd like to go about it would to get some kind of wacky setup in which a toilet is on a rised platform, with a hole cut out below the pan so you could fit an actual human down the loo. You might need to enlarg the loo a wee ...

Hey, I think this whole idea is a great one. May I be involved in it please? I know some of our older films weren't that good, (they were awful actually) but we are ready to try again. It would be great to participate in a project like this!

Thanks,

Wow! well done monkey group! i thought almost every thing in this short film was perfect! I thought the storyline was very well done, and the lighting was spectacular. One might say, out of this world! (couldn't resist! sorry!) The autopsy however did take quite a while, but it did keep me in suspen...

i think the second one reminds me a wee bit o edward scissor hands (crazy inventor, crazy hands, crazy bullies etc.) . I think they would both work equally well, but i like the second one more. erm. Yeh, it would be good if vincent price was still alive though, as he was so cool.

RE: Comedy Script

i'd love to write a script for you, but i have none lying around. (only ones i did when i was like, 12). i dont have a comon sense of humour though, which leads people to say that i dont have one. (doesnt sound good does it). if you want one though, give us a PM please or just anything really. we ar...

i reckon you could buy a polystyrene head from some craft store, and dress it up in a nice latex skin and fake hair or what ever you needed. put some kind of blood filled squib in it, (i dont know about squibs though) and blow it up. the polystyrene will probably fly into pieces from around the squi...

i didn't know about the audio, cos i didn't want it to be a music video, i wanted the monkey song just to be there in the background, but because it is that loud, we get the wrong idea. should've fixed that. i also wanted you to hear the funny words i said, but you can't hear them. i know you should...

Hello everyone, its me again. I was in the woods yesterday, and i thought, wow i need a wee. I know i could have gone behind a bush, but you have gotta have those luxuries in life...toilet roll, something to aim at, fragrance of the bathroom. So i made a film about a guy who needs those luxuries, wh...
