You're kidding right?!? Aliens, Godfather part 2, Dawn of the Dead '78, Terminator 2... well, they're the only ones I can think of right now and I'm sure that a lot of sequels are pure trash but it's not ALWAYS the case...

Oh, I dunno. Updating them for the audience of today isn't always a bad thing. And I wouldn't call Charlie and the Chocolate factory a remake (it's just another adaotation of the book) and isn't Herbie fully Loaded an actual sequel? i'm pretty sure it follows in continuity from the others...

Why would you not? You hear EXACTLY what the mic hears, so you can avoid any nasty surpirises when listening back to the audio...

Kodak.com is a great place to start but to be honest, just try eBay. That's where I've bought most of my super8mm and 16mm film from. Whether or not 8mm has sound depends on the camera, mine's silent but I'm just gonna record sound seperately and synch up later...

I think in the states it's 50 years afetr the writer/composer's death, although in the UK I think it's 75 years after. I could be wrong but I think that's correct...

I'm with Foxwood. Final Draft is fairly pricey but it is industry standard and so easy to use. I've never used anything else since getting my copy...
