Hey, thanks! Glad you liked it. But just to clarify, that's not me acting - I can't act for toffee, trust me. And Techmeister, if you found this 'FUNNY', I'd reccomend some films from the comedy genre. Airplane would be a good start, or Shaun of the Dead. You're gonna explode laughing, dude. You wan...

Keep Your Ear To The Ground

Here's a short clip that we wrote, shot and cut the other day. It'll only take you 2 minutes to watch, so give it a look. I look forward to hearing some opinions on it. <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HmjMleIJRcQ...

Jump off a bridge?
Play in traffic?

I don't know. But surely a stunt is pointless without a storyline? Write a script and see what the plot requires the characters to do, then do that and try not to kill yourself doing it.

Is 'e havin' a laff!?

That was truly abysmal. The worst thing I've ever seen on here. Sorry.

RE: The Babysitter

Scary stuff, lol.
I really liked that - The music worked really well, the girl's acting was impressive, and the baby sound effects worked well enough. The clown freaked me out, but then I have something of a phobia of clowns.
How old are you, can I ask? And what did you film/edit on?

RE: Re: RE: Goodbye Laughter -- New Film

I really liked it. Wonderfully shot and cut, and the acting was nice too. The only criticism I can think of is that there were some grammar/spelling mistakes in the subtitles that I picked up on that I'd go through and correct if I were you. Also, I can't help feeling that voice-over narration would...

It looked real but didn't look like it would hurt him that much, then again it is a FAILED suicide attempt. I'd imagine when it's all cut together properly it's going to look really painful. Am I right? I thought it looked great - ambitious and pulled off well. Looking forward to the final f...

Not seen Smokin' Aces but I loved that. You gonna use it in an actual film, or was it just a test?
What program did you use to make it?

RE: Comic Dog Fight / Sai Throw to groin

That was a waste of time. Try to make something even remotely interesting before posting anything more, please? How about a film with a plot next time? Something that lasts longer than a few seconds? The framing was clumsy, the cuts were didn't flow, the acting was pathetic, fighting was unconvincin...

Is that beer? Aren't you a little young? Urm... No mate? We're 18, you douche. How old are you? 12? It really is rich you calling us 'emo' - I remember when you had a strop on here and said you were gonna kill everybody. Noir version? Why not just have it noir for the real thing?? Those pics look bloody fantastic!! I haven't read through both pages, so I don't know if anyone's asked... But what sort of budget did you have for the film? Very professional-looking. Well done :D

Hmm, maybe you're right and the bar scene can be snipped a bit. So Rhys, you didn't watch any further than that opening montage? Or am I misunderstanding you? I'd appreciate it if you'd check out the rest and let me know what you think to that too... P.S. I reeally don't get this 'emo' thing... Wher...

RE: Monsters

That's our plan now, yes. The next thing you'll see will probably be a trailer of some sort. We just wanted to show a little more so people can see that it is going somewhere after the somewhat meandering beginning.
Thanks for the comments and support.

RE: A Quirk of Fate (OMG)

Like I said, I was really impressed by this film the first time I watched it but never really got round to reviewing it. So let's see... First off, it has a great plot and a clever twist. I loved how everything linked up in the end. Great use of dramatic irony and good tension building towards the c...

RE: Monsters

The tagline is a reference to The Automatic song, yes, but not really theft. We thought since the song was such a big hit, it would be something people could connect with. Popular culture is referenced quite heavily in our film, so we thought it was inkeeping with the style to do it on the poster as...

Thanks a lot for the comments, guys. But, Frij, if you could just clarify some points for me? - How were the characters 'emo'? Were they sitting in the corner, crying, cutting themselves or such like? Because I missed that bit... - And about the smoking... Sorry, but what? That is the most ridiculou...

MONSTERS - a new film - NEW SCENES ADDED

Hey there. After recently finishing our zombie film, DEAD WEIGHT (which will be up to view soon enough, when the music has been completed), we decided to move on to something a little bit different. MONSTERS is a film about modern British teenagers, and the Devil. Well, not yet... But it will be. Th...

Inspired a bit by I Am Legend? That's one of my favourtie books ever.
The film was very well shot and I loved the colour and the voice over. Pretty cool twist too, quite original.
And what an awesome location! How'd you find that place?
