3ds Max

I just got 3ds max 7, because it was a reccomended CGI program, and I don't know how to animate the character. I know how to zoom, move, rotate and key, but I don't know how to actually animate the character (eg move legs on a t-rex or human, etc). Can anyone help me?

I did this effect in a film of mine recently. I did it the hard way, though...I had a knife handle and added the blade (picture in Photoshop) to the end of the knife in After Effects...It turned out alright...Well, it'll do...Using keyframes and clever shot cutting, you can just pull this off...

Wonka Bars

Just for laughs, I decided to make a real life Wonka bar like the ones from the new movie...I made a template on Paint using pictures I found and printed it out using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and using the top setting. I printed onto glossy paper. I cut around the excess edges and got a video ...

RE: New UK Legislation regarding explosives

My advice is to use stock footage, because then there is no risk of: Getting arrested Burning yourself Killing yourself Using stock footage with color key and masks makes it look more realistic. Also, adjust brightness and contrast to match it with the background. Then the explosions will look near-...

Blender help!

Is there a way in Blender to convert a 2d video into a 3d object?

For example, say I had footage of an actor rotating his body until he reached where he started, would I be able to turn that actor into a 3d object using Blender?

Well, the prop guns were good, and I liked the way you made it seem that the kids were driving...

A few muzzle flashes would go a long way...

You can make your own or head over to www.detonationfilms.com (they have ready-made muzzle flashes that you just use Luma Key over)
