It worked! I downloaded the codec from an italian site. It contained a .inf and a .dll Installed using the .inf Windows asked if I wanted to replace the newer version with the old one, I said no, but it works, realy weerd, but anyways, thx! off-topic: 400! huy huy edit: realy strange... I'm trying to import an MPEG4-V3 encoded movie into premiere Pro, but it just says: unsupported compression in file.
But I can watch it in media player, winamp, submax, ....

there was a tread on this a while ago, maybe use the search function :p anyways, you can slow down footage to about 50% if you shoot in 30fps (effective), and to about 62.5% if you shoot in 24fps (effective). I think it's a pretty good camera.

Spyk: to continue on your idea: Why don't you film (let's say the wound is on the face) the chin first, then you see a drop of blood appearing (dropped by someone outsoide the frame), the camera pans up to the wound...

with after effects it's realy easy to add smoke...
add a particle playground effect, and then apply blur
add some black particles, ready
don't use for close-up.

you'll need something like adobe encore (I use it, is good, easy, but f*cking exspensive).
