Possibly around 10-15 tapes as far as I know. And none of them have labels!

Melons are amazing, they are possibly the best thing for any gore effects. Blow one of those up on a dummy and it would look amazing! Cut a circular hole in the back (keep the cut out 'plug') where you want it to explode out, stick a blender inside the melon through the hole and mush up some of the ...

RE: uploading to web? and converitng file size?
You're gonna have to look around online for a free DVD ripper, then you gotta use a program to compress the video file ( unless the DVD ripper does this for you ) and then upload it to something like video.google.com

I don't think we could use a retractable knife, because it has to be a special custom made knife. We figured that the styrofoam method was our only answer. Is it possible not to focus on the knife too much, then you could just make a card/wood replica and paint it in the same colors, you could easi...

RE: Tripods
No terribly hard shots came up yet... although the project we're starting in the easter holidays has a fight in a river ( waist/knee deep ) with up to 5 people in the same shot. So lots of water splashing about and we don't want all the shots to be from the banks so we'll have to grab a waterproof c...

We've got one guy who gets killed in a river, knee deep water. To get the reactions right when he gets stabbed we're going to slow motion of the others realising, nothing like being able to hold pieces of onion against your actors eyes so they really do cry their eyes out =P We're also going to let ...
