RE: THe Matrix trilogy

Oh and sorry for the double post but the Matrix script was based on one from the eighties (or was it early nineties?). There is something about it and the following lawsuit somewhere on the net...

RE: THe Matrix trilogy

The first was an amalgamation of a lot of sci-fi stories (and I didn't say it wasn't good - like the Terminator, not original but good none the less). And bullet time - though a great effect when used right - isn't a first for the Matrix. photographers had been using it for a few years before those ...

Well, I thought I'd try it again - and lo and behold! A much better connection, weird. Nah, it looks alright, look forward to seeing the finished version. I'm a big fan of the Friday movies (even number 5!) so anything (well almost) with Jason in is worth watching in my book...

'Bloodline' is a fairly generic title for a horror film though don't you think? Yes, Mushiman's using it too, but Hellraiser also used it for their fourth movie. BTW, I tried downloading this and even though I'm on broadband, it gave me the most pathetic of download speeds and would have taken over ...

Dead Report is a little too close to "Dead News Report", an amateur zombie movie that can be found here:

Even though it's not a serious technical commentary and you don't learn much, the Cannibal! the Musical commentary by Trey Parker, Matt Stone an friends is hilarious! All they do is get drunk whilst discussing the film. Sheer genius...

The first one was good, not original but good. Two and three were... well not even worth mentioning.

I've gotta agree with Blade (god, I feel faint...), there would have to be some kind of monetary value to this or the results are gonna look just... well, rubbish.

RE: Canon XM2

I used an XM2 to shoot my film and I had no complaints. I used an external mike to start with but then ended plugging that stariaght into the camera anyway. I didn't notice any motor sound present.

RE: The Music By credit?

If he scores the film then he gets the music by credit, if he picks the songs then he's a Music Supervisor. That's usually tagged onto the end credits before the list of songs. Hope that helps.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned "ALIENS". The end sequence with the power loader and queen are worth the cost of the dvd alone (not to mention that the film is pure genius anyway).
