Yeah, I've got 120 gigs on my computer, and two 160gig externals that get me by pretty easily. The movies I make don't come a long very often, so it's not like I run out of space very quickly. I'm not the type to crank out something new every week. If you don't have an external hard drive, it is som...

Whenever I finish a project, I make one copy on DVD, so that I can watch it on the tv, and show it to others if I wish to. Other than that, I just keep it on my computer, and if I ever need to do anything with it, it's there. I NEVER post any videos on Google Video, Youtube, or Putfile. I don't trus...

Hey, I found this thread over my Christmas break, but my internet's so slow at home, I didn't get a chance to watch any of your movies. I just got back to college today, and I just watched your Jigsaw's Game movie. It went together well, and I liked the theme. The voice over sounded really good haha...

Re: RE: Re: RE: FILMING IN UK AIRPORTS - NEED TO KNOW NOW!!!
(P.S.) This topic was started 3 years ago! Uh...Maybe half that..? Anyways, in high school, some friends and I were doing a project on the Trans-Continental Railroad. So we filmed part of it by the tracks in a remote location. While we were working, a train came. There also were a few passerbys, an...

Interesting, thanks DEDFX for pointing that out. I hadn't come across that thread. Now that I think about it, a lot of the topics sounded familiar, didn't really look into any of them though. Sounds like you made a bad move, buddy. Not exactly the type of work that gets you top honors on this site...

Ok, the things I noticed right off the bat. 1. You have loads of content, which is good. Makes me feel like I'm visiting a legit site. 2. You could try adding more color to the home page. The set up is good, but just to make it look a little more appealing, you could add a dark background, or tile a...

These are already made. They're called slide shows :) hehe jk. But really, if you think about it. For each frame to be of the quality and have the content to want to frame it, having these frames one after another wouldn't have much flow to it. I think it would be hard to follow, even if it were tho...

I've found a few ways to make a little bit of a profit. Whenever I hear of couples who get engaged, I ask them if they would like to have a video made of their wedding. Usually $300-$400 a pop. Isn't too bad. As well as making picture slide shows for graduations, anniversaries, anything of that sort...

By the looks of your avatar, you appear to be a Family Guy fan. Is that the basis of your inspiration? Looks like it may have influenced your idea. But any who, don't let DEDFX get ya down. Personal style is what makes things eye catching. I think it's great that you're looking' into the whole flash...

...its not attacking you personally im just justifying my side... I think that's great you're justifying your side Aaron, but just try not to do it in such a violent way. I personally don't have any problem with you, or any other member of the forum. What I want to say is just, you have a tendency ...

Sorry MacMave, that your thread has changed to a completely different topic...but changing it back to your intentions, I thought that was a very cool clip you put together there. I like how you showed the various stages you went through in coming up with your final rendering. I thought it looked goo...

You know what? That was actually quite enjoyable. However, I will agree with those who mentioned the editing being slightly sloppy, as well as non-realistic muzzle flashes. Also, when the first character gets shoved out of the way, it appears that he flies a little further than he should with the pu...

I used to use firewire to upload all of the video from my camcorder. Then, with a bit of bad luck, the firewire card on my computer became damaged, and I discovered that I could upload the video via USB at the exact same quality. There are no visual differences, it's quite amazing. So it's possible ...
