hey,
has anyone hearf of FX lab?: www.fxhome.com i just brought it and its really good for colour correction, composoting, particles etc, they used it heavily on www.darkresurrection.com
just wondered as ive never heard anyone mention it

lol, yeah ive been looking for some tutorials for that, ill let you know if i find any, 2 hours later and the rendering has gone up by 10 frames, ill be here till midnight for a 1 second clip! lol

nice! yeah i agree with DEDFX, what texture did you use for the water? same, just downloaded it the other day, its so easy to use i spent four months trying to work out 3DS

this is on frame 8 of about thirty, i cut the animation down to about a second and it says its gonna take four hours

just done a fairly basic animation of a camera panning over an island zooming in a bit and in total its 3 seconds long, is it normal for its remaining time to render, to be over a day?

get a warranty for a couple of years if you buy a plasma, had to get mine fixed three times in in two years, and the plasma at my work went again the other week!

great, i love reality T.V but make sure that it dosn't become a sitcom, we have a show like that in Britain called Peep Show. There must also be a reason why they are in the show, is one famous? their characters must be interesting if your going to make this with the basic plot, sounds good though

watch the french film Amelie, you could get some really good ideas, i.e buying an exact copy of someones shoes but in a smaller size, changing the lightbulbs so its a differant lighting, changing door handles around, re-arranging knifes and forks in the draw etc

i spray paint water pistols an hten touch them up with paint, they look pretty cool. Im from britai and i cant find any cheap guns, cheapest ones are from about a tenner to twenty pounds, i wanted to buy some from american ebay cos of the rates but they dont send overseas

yeah, i've read some tutorials but they all persume that you already know how to insert the picture. I did read one tutorial though when you press 'm' to get the materials window up and then you find the image or sumthing, but it dosn't work for me, plus the tutorial was sketchy.
