I have been looking for some tutorials on how to create at least somewhat realistic muzzleflashes. Are there any good ones out there that somehow eluded my internetbrowsing eyes? And, this may not fall into the muzzleflash category but, some instructions on giving the gun some blowback action? Appar...

Knife Throwing..

Hey guys, been away for quite a while now, but now i need you to help me once again. In my current movie, one of the characters is supposed to throw a knife at another character. How would i go about doing this? I want to show the knife rotating/spinning in the air, then hit. If you've seen Stargate...

It is all up to you're self when it comes to choosing software.. get the trial version of each program, and see which one works best for you.. I use LightWave myself..

It's way too big for me to download so i cant watch it...sorry.. and i have no problem with people promoting their films, but you don't need to brag about them and putting other films down. I see no reason at all for you to claim that you'r film is better than Hollow Point, which by the way im quite...

with AE the possiblities are endless! You can achieve so much with AE if you just set your mind to it! I can agree it's a bit expensive, but in the end it's worth it! I would check around Ebay and places like that for good bargains, i picked up 6.0 for roughly 100 dollars.

It would be a good idea to have an film gallery somewhere. only problem is to find someone who is willing to host, and has enough space.

You'r traveling through a steel door? who the heck threw you? He-Man? A steel door wouldn't break, it would bulge and buckle, and if it did break it sure wouldn't look anything like when a wooden one does. A steel one would like..uhm..shred or something. A more likely thing is that it would come los...

At some point someone will move infront of it,Yes.
As for the camera i guess not. If we need moving shots we can always set it up so whenever the camera moves it is behind the screen showing the actors/backside of monitor.
