They do a lot of this stuff in the soppy movies some of my friends watch... when people meet each-other in airport termainals for the first time in ages and they just stand there whilst people rush about all around them. Doing it slowly and speeding it us has positives and negatives... negatives: 1)...

Midi keyboards/guitars... help?

Hey guys, Up my way the filmmaking's been getting better and better... Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with cancer but after four months of treatment it seems I'm finally getting the upper hand (that's kinda why I haven't been around for a while) Never mind though... I recently added Adobe Au...

I thought it was 80 years in the UK? I was under the impression that it was 70 years but under EU law or something we had to draw level with Germany and call it 80? Also, remember a piece of music has @ least three copywrites on it... composer, artist, recording studio. I just write my own lol! Save...

eugh pinnacle...

sorry I just can't stand that programme - feels all nice and cosy until u've used summat else... but once u move 2 premiere I doubt u'll ever want 2 use it again

it crashes, it doesn't burn DVDs, its slow and it takes up soooo much processing power

just thought I'd say that

it's not a trial - it's as good as pinacle, possibly better for the same price... it also gives you a good idea of how the more pro-sumer editors feel.

also it doesn't crash as often as pinnical

RE: 3D editing?

I just want something I can use to create cool-looking backgrounds and superimpose my characters onto without it looking crappy (ie. such that I could put shadows on) It doesn't say on the bryce 5.5 website what kind of animation it does or what file-types it renders animation to. So I could be a bi...

best bet for windows is get Premiere and photoshop elements bundled - costs about $50 for the two, they're good and you get to try out the two programes and see if you want to buy the full versions in the future.

good luck!

This is going to sound patronising but it's not so bear with me, If you want to make a good film or even a 1/2 decent one, you've got to write your own stuff. It's not hard to do and it's sooo much better if you know what you reeli want from a scene rather than reading someone elses and trying to gu...

Windows movie maker isn't that bad I have premier but use pinnacle studio9+ most of the time - if I didn't have pinnacle I'd happily use movie maker. I've known worse than movie maker and if ur just starting out you'll want something easier, simpler and faster than premiere, which pinacle is (tis ab...

Go sit in a park or something. Get away from absolutely everything and sit and close your eyes... where are you now in your mind? Independent of outside interference where does your mind revert to? It's there that your film should be - just let your mind wander... who is involved? What's their goal?...

Hello!

Hey! if you're a Nottingham Filmmaker, go to www.broadway.org.uk (I think)

it runs a series of courses based at Broadway Cinema on how to write scripts, make films, animate etc.

it's great - look @ it

cheers,

Matt! It'd be really cool if you could post a tutorial on how you made the "holster-thing" for the camera which you fitted to the car (as seen on your HP pictures). Or, if anyone else involved in building it would like to post a tutorial/guide on how to make it that would be great! Looks s...

They broke the 180 rule in King Arthur... didn't work I don't think - it wasn't glaringly bad (I can see what they were trying to do but it wasn't paying off).

So even the pros get that one wrong
