New camera may be in order!

I've finally gotten the chance to buy a great camera, only thing is, it has to be $2000 or lower. I'm looking for a pro OR NEAR-pro quality DV or HD camera that of course could produce some fantastic looking images that may please the audience. I'm hoping to submit films to some festivals with this ...

Barret M82 .50BMG prop gun

I'm trying to make a quick five minute long hitman movie, need to get it done as soon as possible. I already have a friend (GREAT writer by the way) writing the script, it was originally going to be around 15 minutes long, but he's shortening it to five so I can make a quick film that people MAY lik...

I was looking around the Member's Films forum when I saw 'Full Film Download', then I looked across saw Gyro made it and I went O_O 'if Gyro made it, it's gotta be good!' It wasn't good, but great. I liked it, great job dude.

RE: Another lil war skit 2

Very nice, I liked it. Everything looked quite good, however the bullets seemed to fly a little slowly. A sharp pointed piece of metal traveling at over 900 feet per second would seemingly move a bit quicker than that. I personally think making them move faster would enhance the quality of it, but m...

Yup, it's been a while, finally back.

I actually did add some casings in, they're just hard to see, if you look closely you can see them. Casings usually don't stick out as much as the gun does in real gun videos, so I tried my best to replicate that.

RE: Movie: Dead Conspiracy (download now)

Wow...that was great. I couldn't watch all of it because my net kinda killed the download, but I saw most it. Excellent movie, really sucks ya in, awesome blowback on the guns aswell.

I'd glad you all like it. ^_^

It was an electric airsoft Desert Eagle, only I didn't use the blowback function, too slow. For all of the effects I just used Photoshop, 1st frame of every shot for muzzle flash, 2nd frame of every shot to move the slide back.

Good movie, really didn't like how it looked throughout all of the running though, way too jerky for me. Amazing that anyone can finish something like that in one day though. Kudos to you.

Most of that was good, something that bothered me about it though was how the spent casing was straight as it fell down. Casings usually tumble around as they're ejected from the gun.

FPS view Deagle!

Filmed this quick little muzzle flash trial yesterday, finished adding the effects in today.

It looks a bit weird because I when I filmed it, I intended it to be widescreen, but compressing with Windows Movie Maker tends to throw things at ya its own way.

Firewire needed...well, a new one anyway

I'm back, after a year and a half of purely flash animation and getting nowhere, I decide to do a gun test video, the only problem is that the PC will not register with the camera. I plug everything up, turn it to playback mode, OOPS!! IT DOESN'T WORK! Where would I happen to find a new firewire for...

And also, I realize that I haven't been on lately, I've been doing a bunch of other cr**; modding Madness Interactive, kissing babies, cheating on my wife...normal stuff... Anyway, I've completely forgetten how to recorder off the sound card...a...
