Re: RE: Greenscreen fall

Why is your sister A) falling through the freaking ionosphere without a space suit? B)falling faster than gravity ever could pull her? and C) NOT EVEN REMOTELY CONCERNED ABOUT THE ENTIRE SITUATION?

http://www.sproe.com/h/helmet.html The chinstrap itself was often left undone (placed back on the rear of the helmet) in the mistaken belief that the force of an exploding artillery shell could catch the helmet and possibly decapitate or strangle a soldier with the chinstrap. Although the interior ...

Rain will not be an issue in the west desert. Frankly, we could make a set that no one will ever even notice. Frankly, I like the idea of smearing wood with mud. What would be a nice touch would to get Chris to take a shotgun to 'em, to give that nice downtown Fallujah feel. I like your idea UFP, bu...

Go reshoot the scene with the grave of the dead soldier, for two reasons. One, you're in a time of war, and when there arae bullets and shrapnel flying around, your helmet stays on your head, even if you're paying your respects. Two, it covers their hair, which isn't as noticeable when there's a ste...

It's not that he's afraid of a working gun, he just wants it for very little money. Paying for a working one at a higher rate and then destroying it in the name of having a cheaper gun makes no sense.

I love the idea, but what's most important is convincing the audience of what is going on. Amateur acting can only go so far. If you can't convey the idea of a nasty plague in a convincing manner, you'll have 70 pages of spent paper on your hands.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Make an army truck at home on a low buge

I personally think one would be better off using a mess of cardboard and duct tape to create more of a army vehicle. That way you'd (hopefully) get a more realistic shape. It's a nice paint job, but a Humvee this ain't.

Its not as hard as you think.
If you sincerely believe that, start stitching up a few M42 jumpsuits, and sell 'em, because there's a sizable market. I doubt you realize the complexity your're looking at here.

RE: paper mache helmets

The problem with papier mache helmets is they're so damned light and flexible. Make sure they don't appear that way. And they tend to blow away in the wind, which just looks bad.
