I have pinnacle and should be able to do it then.

Does anyone know life expectancy of a VCD? or SVCD done onto a blank CD of good Quality?

As I transfer all my home movies of daughter growing up to VCD as not got DVD writer and good enough quality?

Transfering VHS to VCD or AVi

Hi I did a load of old school movies back in the 80's anyhow they are an old VHS, I want to transfer this to my PC to an AVI or MPEG, what is the best way??? I have a DS65 Digital Videocam if that is any use, I was thinking could I play the VHS tape into my digital video cam and then run through PC....

Panasonic Digital NV DS65

I went for the DS65 camcorder in the end and very happy with it, it is small compact and does DV in and out...

Cool stuff too.

Progressive Scan/Frame Mode?

Is the Progressive Scan and Frame mode the same thing?

I have not been able to find this feature on any of the panasonic, but have found Progressive Photoshoot, is this the same thing???

After a lot of research, it seems the DVGS30 is the same as the DG65 but is smaller and does not have memory stick feature, which I think is not needed anyhow if you got a digicam.


I have got the NVGS30 down to £465.00 does anyone know anywhere cheaper?

Panasonic DV Cams - Which one?

I am looking to buy a new DV cam, I like panasonic and have £500 absolute max to spend.

I know I need DV in/out, but what else do I need, does anyone own a Pana DV Cam?
