Watch the movie Life is Beautiful. That movie has the perfect example of a very sad and startling ending, but it still lelaves viewers feeling ok and not depressed.

That blur that was just posted looks nothing at all like the effect desired. A simple Pixelate>Mosaic will do the trick in the selected area. No blur is necessary. Just make sure to adjust the square radius.

Here's a picture example

interesting... Some parts were really corny like when he kicks the guy... it wasn't anywhere near close. And when I saw the vampire death I thought it was a transition at first... next time speed it up or even opt to use some stock footage of explosions found on detonation films (any of the fire bur...

I also started my film club and with my awesome marketing skills (hired a guy to create the sexiest logo ever) I got over 70 ppl to show up at lunch on the first meeting, unfortunantly it kinda went downhill after that because almost noone had time to work on anything. It's still alive (in it's seco...

Oo I like it. Especially the part where you pull out the gun and your clone hits it away. Some parts that looked sorta screwy was when your clone flew backwards and the other clone standing next to it dodges the body. The depth of it looks kinda wonky, actually most of the parts that require depth (...

Well you certainly have improved from your last movie. I see you have learned to cut faster, but at some points there still is that lag time I was talking about. The bullet hole looked nice, but overall it just didn't make sense. Your choreo from your last movie was more interesting. Next time I sug...

RE: Fight scene

Choreo was actually nice... looked like you jacked it straight out of the transporter though. In terms of ways you can improve it now... I suggest speeding up the clips so it actually looks like your hitting her. I would also suggest cutting it so there is no "lag" time, what I mean is, th...

RE: Resident evil kick

Its called a 360 roundhouse, and is quite easy to preform http://trickstutorials.com/index.php?page=content/t_540 thats a tutorial on how to do a 540 which is essentially the same thing except that you land on your kicking leg, while on a 360 round house you land on the non kicking leg. Is this basically the effect seen in house of flying daggers? cause I think a cg knife would work best, and then you can pan quickly so that your character is off frame to begin with and then on frame. And it focuses as soon as the characters hand is in frame. If you did it correctly and fast enough...

Oh this is absolutely so incredibly easy to do. Just use clearasil wipes (probbably 3 bucks for 60 wipes) on your face. This will cause super blood shot eyes for a few moments. Trust me, everytime I use a wipe my eyes turn nearly completely red. Heres a link to what I'm talking about: http://www.cle...
