Good film man! I normally loose interest by most films here with the same length. But this one got me from start to finish. Try to film your actors from one side. Never switch side between takes (like in the lockerroom while talking to the gym coach and when the character first meets April in the ha...

That's not the point. The point is that DV can look as good as film. It just depends on lightning and filters.

The problem with film (film is way better than DV)but unless you have those giant scanners so that you can do SFX, etc. I think DV is better only because it is easier to do special effects but for quality Film is better. I disagree. In big motion pictures, film is always digitalized to add special ...

That was horrible. But i'll tell you why so you can learn from your mistakes. 1. Windows movie maker is fine for starters. So don't go buy yourself a expencive editor just yet. 2. Use a tripod!!! Your camera was waving like a cameraman in baghdad. It makes your film look like america's funiest home ...

I liked the first half of the film a bit. The rest just made no sence.

Contact the KKK and some protesters and let them tell each side of the story. Try to avoid showing your own opinion and let the viewers create their own. You can show clips of your footage during the interview with these persons.

I found a good site about deinterlacing. (http://www.100fps.com/). I followed the advice of Joe to use the deinterlace option in adobe pro and replaced the movie with a deinterlaced one. It's looks great.

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Got really bored

usually NTSC video has 2 fields, a horizontal one with 30 lines and a vertical one with 30, making an interlaced image with 60 lines. when you deinterlace, you take away one of the fields, bringing it to only 30 lines, which is closer to a film look. well, that's what i've come to understand. someo...

I have no idea what deinterlacing is. That's why I i visit this forum :p
I think it has something to do with those stripes you see when i flip the knife open. It only appears in the WMV version. Can someone tell me what deinterlacing is and how you do it.

Try this:

Project -> project settings -> Then you'll see a "playback settings" button on the upper right of the project settings window. Press it. Then select the option "Playback on DV hardware and Desktop". your problem should be solved.

Opening/closing credits

Can someone point me to a tutorial to make end credits and maybe one showing cool ways to do opening credits like flashing text or something.

Thanks.

I just watched Reverie and i like it. A lot of movies posted here are full of effects and i think it's nice to see some movies without all that. There always some shooting and explosions. It would be nice of there were more movies here like yours.

By the way. Why is that movie named Reverie?

So let's get back to the topic :)
