WRONG! Blanks have a plug, they do not shoot a projectile, but are technically a firearm and can cause serious injury or death. That is why any motion picture using blanks requires an armorer on set, witht he weapons at all times. Blanks are not toys, and should not be treated as such, they are a w...

I understand the concept of a feild exercize, but do you guys just fire blanks at each other and use a sort of honor system where if you think you're hit, you're dead? I dont really get it. Ye...

Sure, there were a few inaccuracies. But you can't prove it would have been better without him. He made them better at impressing actual soldiers. That's his job. His job is the military advisor. By teaching them to act like Vietnam soldiers, ignore ROE and let the stupidest mistakes go in, he's fa...

Also, what do you use to hold the liner in the helmet? it keeps bouncing around while your running! Liner should fit just fine in the helmet. Wrong! Dye did nothing but improve those productions. Nah, he definetely worsened BoB by adding a bunch of cr** in. Most of the vets who saw it were very con...

Not a bad clip for testing muzzle flashes and stuff. Dunno what the Germans were doing walking in the middle of nowhere, but I guess that's not an issue... lol. Not a bad Garand either, even from the first shot it looked pretty good. Uniform top is OK, work on the pants though. Keep up the good work!

Yes, Saving Private Ryan US uniforms were almost completely built in wardrobe for the film. Some close-up haversacks and leggings were probably real. Regardless, they're still accurate uniforms (or did I read the original post wrong... lol). Maybe not all original (not even all of my stuff is origi...

Hehe... I actually liked the music. Then again, I like 80s music in general (I'm weird like that). Most of the boat shots were models, they had a 35 foot version that could sail in the ocean. Their full size replica was just an empty shell with an engine, and it cracked in rough weather and was used...

Watched SPR the other night. Got a lot of problems, but I still enjoy it. Definately changed the look people have on history. Band of Brothers was excellent, thought it was a mini-series. But so was Das Boot, but whatever. I guess if I had to choose, I'd pick Das Boot. Probably the most realistic wa...
