friend of mine told me that iis on win xp pro works like s***, and w2k works like a dream. Can be system-dependent though. On a pentium 1 though, windows 2000 is the best choice, winxp will just take up too much system resources and give you nothing extra in return.

okay people! you're talking to the right man! I've just set up my own home server, it's an old Pentium 166 Mhz with MMX and 32 MB's of RAM. Setting it up is as easy as it gets: -use bootdisks of windows 2000 (best for such a computer) to first format the whole hdd, put everything in one NTFS partiti...

true, making a film in 3d is NOT hard. Strap two cameras together so that the lenses are eyes-width from each other. There are two things tricky about it: you've either got to have 2 60fps cameras and let them run in (almost) perfect sync, meaning that they both capture the same frame at the same ti...

the cdrw is just not compatible with your burner or the other way around. Try a different brand of cdrw.

seriously, if it just reads other cd's ok and burns other cd-r's fine, there is no problem, just incompatability. Find the right brand of cdrw's and stick to those.

with the chroma keyer, filter out the black background (by setting the filter color to black) [video fx tab]. But I haven't worked with it for a while now, if I am not very clear here, maybe someone else who is a bit more professional with vegas can help out here.

It works the same as windows terragen, only the nice borders around the windows look different. I will install Virtual PC some time to be able to simulate Mac's too, will be needed to test compatability etc.

No, I didn't make terragen, I only made terrascript. I'm a scripter, no programmer. I know f*** about how to make a scanline renderer in 400 KB, I do know perfectly how to make a few simple for-loops to generate such a script. Anyway, what I did make: -the website (it rocks, admit it, just look at t...

haha, seriously, I'm writing this what, 5 minutes later?, I've already updated the site.
You're confused? shouldn't be. It's easy! It's just a web-based animation script renderer for a random landscape-and-atmosphere image generator. Easy.
